The Panas Myrniy Literary Memorial Museum is the residence of Ukrainian literature classic, Panas Rudchenko, better known in the world by his literary pen-name, Panas Myrniy. The Museum is located in a quiet suburb of Poltava. The amount of personal belongings and memorial exhibits makes it the richest literary museum in Ukraine. The residence was nominated a monument of park and garden art in 1976. A literary exhibition has been opened in the new building since 1985. The museum has a research department, a collection department and auxiliary departments: a scientific library and archive.
