Tour description

The Korolenko Literary Memorial Museum is located in the green belt of the Shevchenko district in a street that is also named to honor the democrat writer, a progressive civil activist and humanist of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Volodymyr Korolenko. On various occasions, his home has been visited by such prominent figures as Ivan Tobilevich, Panas Myrny, Mykhailo Kotsubynskiy, Konstantin Balmont, Valentin Katayev and Ivan Kozlovskiy. The writer’s homestead and his grave are included in the National Registry as a national landmark.
