This section of the museum was opened in 1993 on the second floor of the Oberih leisure and culture center. The section is divided into 8 chapters, each a study in weaving and embroidery from the very origins of the art to the modern days. The museum’s collection includes the works by and information on such recognized masters of this folk art as Tovstukha, Vasylenko, Derkach, Dmytrenko, Ipatiy, Kis, Kril, Lytvynenko, Shevchuk, the Pilyugin family, Babenko and Vakulenko. The museum neighbors upon an exhibition hall, which is the home of the Reshetylivka Spring annual folk art festival.
