This route gets together places which relate to Hryhoriy Skovoroda. We invite you to visit Pokrovsky monastery which hosted Kharkiv Spiritual Collegium where he was a professor. In the homestead of landowner Kovalivsky the poet spent last days of his life. National Literary and Memorial museum of Skovoroda tells about life, and creative legacy of the thinker. In the park you can find 700-year old oak which hosted Skovoroda’s beloved spot for the philosophic thinking. “The landscape avenue” introduces works by participants of International sculptor symposium. We encourage you to visit Onoufriyivsky spring and Mykolayivsky cathedral in Vilshany on your way from Kharkiv to Skovorodynivka.
