Yermilov Center for contemporary art was opened in Kharkiv in 2012. It’s named after famous Kharkiv painter Vasyl Yermilov. The center is located in the main building of Kharkiv National university named after Karazin. Two-storey space of 1,500 sq.m. gives unique opportunities for art projects organization and presentation. At present Yermilov Center is one of the largest and most dynamic contemporary art centers in Ukraine. Its mission is to popularize modern art and culture, as well as to foster cooperation of artists, critics, supervisors and researchers.
