The Provincial Managing and Methodical Center for Culture and Art is adescendant of Provincial Folk Art House founded in 1938. The center has been set up to make a united cultural and art information space, as well as to recreate and preserve traditional art of Slobozhanshchyna. The Center is located in historical building that used to be a house of merchant Strekalov and a home to Oleksandr Dovzhenko in 1923-26.
