Myrhorod Literary and Memorial Museum named after David Guramishvili. We invite you to the Myrhorod Literary and Memorial Museum named after David Guramishvili, a real gem dedicated to the outstanding Georgian poet of the 18th century. This special museum building with its light walls and elements of Georgian architecture, decorated with amazing Ukrainian and Georgian ornaments, immediately attracts attention. The museum hospitably opened its doors in 1969, and it was then that a majestic monument to the poet appeared next to it. The first exhibition hall highlights two periods in D. Guramishvili's life – his Georgian period and his period of emigration. The second exhibition hall highlights the third period in D. Guramishvili's life – his Ukrainian period. Here is the central stand of the museum, which features a portrait of D. Guramishvili (Brikulets V.M., (member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine), paper, oil, 1969), photocopies of pages from D. Guramishvili's manuscripts, and modern editions of the poet's works. Museum address: 37601, Independence Street, 5, Myrhorod, Poltava region
