The Lubny Museum of Local Lore named after Hnat Stelletsky is one of the oldest in the Poltava region. It was founded in 1918 by the prominent professor of archeology Hnat Stelletsky as the Lubny Ukrainian Museum Our museum is located in the central part of the city, in an elegant historical building from the beginning of the 20th century. Today, its collection includes about 23 thousand exhibits. Among them, a special place is occupied by a unique archaeological collection, old prints, a rare collection of weapons, a collection of traditional Ukrainian clothing, as well as valuable photographs and historical documents.
