Cerset 30. Women's outer garment ‘Yupka’ made of cloth Inv. #508 Poltava region, Khorol district Early 20th century Hand-sewn from light-coloured homespun felted cloth. Decorated with black wool braid around the neckline, chest, along the edge of the right side, and at the bottom of the jacket. The chest is decorated with an appliqué featuring a floral motif in the form of a tree. The sleeves are decorated with cuffs with wavy edges and black wool fabric trim, complemented by artistic stitching with wavy lines. At the back, the fabric has six longitudinal folds, or ‘fandiv’ or ‘whiskers,’ which are decorated with buttons. The skirt was donated to the collection by Yelyzaveta Bubelo.
