Cerset 28. Women's ‘Kerset’ Inv. # 246 Poltava Region, Khorol District Kostiuki Village Early 20th century Made of dark brown store-bought rep fabric, lined with calico, with internal ties. The armholes and neckline are decorated with velvet piping. The kerst is decorated with silk braid around the neckline and chest. The chest is decorated with a floral appliqué in the form of a branch with flowers. The appliqué is made of silk ribbons. At the back, the fabric forms six longitudinal folds, decorated with buttons. It belonged to Maria Ivanivna Kostyuk (née Kuzub) (1897-1970) and was donated to the collection by her granddaughter, Kateryna Mykolaivna Bahan.
