Cerset 24. Women's ‘Kerset’ Inv. #438 Poltava Region, Khorol District Trubaytsi Village Early 20th century Made of dark velvet, lined with homespun linen, with internal ties. The armholes and neckline are trimmed with satin piping. The kerst is decorated with pink and green silk braid on the right side of the chest and around the neckline. A square on the chest of the kerst is filled with an appliqué of braid in the form of a branch with leaves. Along the edge of the right side, there is decorative stitching with floral motifs. At the back, the fabric forms eight longitudinal folds, decorated with buttons. The jacket belonged to Sekleta Sviridivna Vovk from the village of Trubaytsi. It was donated to the collection by Sekleta's granddaughter, Lyudmila Manzhos.
