Cerset 23. Women's ‘Kerset’ Inv. #207 Poltava Region, Khorol District S. Staiki Early 20th century Made of dark velvet, lined with calico, with internal ties. The armholes and neckline are trimmed with blue calico piping. The kerst is decorated with square stitching on the chest and buttons along its contour. At the back, the fabric forms six longitudinal folds, or ‘fandiv’ or ‘vusiv,’ which are decorated with buttons. The jacket was donated to the collection by Olga Kozhevnikova.
