Cerset 011. Women's ‘Kerset’ Inv. #320 Poltava Region, Khorol District S. Hlyboka Dolyna Early 20th century Made of dark velvet, lined with calico, with internal ties. The armholes and neckline are trimmed with light-coloured velvet piping. Decorated with coloured braid on the right side of the chest and around the neckline. The square on the chest of the kerset is embroidered with a floral ornament in the form of a tree with flowers. The embroidery is done in satin stitch with coloured silk threads. At the back, the fabric forms six longitudinal folds, decorated with buttons. The kerset belonged to Bova Marfa Igorevna, 1884-1978.
