It was more than 80 years ago when The Poltava Regional Academic Puppet Theatre hospitably opened its door to the public into the magic world of dreams, fantasies and interesting stories. It’s also nicknamed the Fairy Tale Palace. This is exactly the place which is connected with the sweet and dear childhood memories of Poltava citizens. There is always a festive atmosphere here, and the kindness and joy fills the heart of everyone who comes to the theatre at least once. It is one of the oldest theatres in Ukraine. The Poltava Puppet Theater has a rich and diverse repertoire, which includes dramaturgy of Ukrainian and world classics, national folklore and works by contemporary authors.
