Plunge into the unique world of the great writer's childhood to touch upon the deep origins of his literary work on this unforgettable tour. This is a kind of a retrospective journey to the times of M. Hohol’s childhood, lifetime and mature work. Only upon visiting the Writer's Little Motherland you can sense his immortal creative endeavors. The excursion trip is designed for a wide range of audience: from the school or university students to the tourists who are more familiar with the masterpieces of the writer. In addition to the magnificent and unique landscapes of the central part of Poltava region, the route includes visits to two churches of Dykanka – Mykolaivska and the Trinity Church, the National Museum and Reserve which is now located in the Hohol and Yanovsky family estate in the village of Hoholevo (Shyshatskyi district), a unique monument of Baroque architecture style the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Saviour in Velyki Sorochyntsy (Myrhorod district), where the writer was baptized.
