Kharkiv Academic State Puppet theatre of Afanasiev is a symbiosis of careful attitude to traditional puppet performance. The theater building is an architectural monument of early XX century. The repertoire includes performances for different age kids as well as the evening performances for the adults. The theatre museum makes its distinguishing feature. It is the only in Ukraine and has a collection of over 11000 exhibits to give an idea of puppet performances variety. The theater hall is a ground to art, sculpture and photography exhibitions by both experienced masters and starters.
