Kharkiv Marine museum introduces navigation history through the models. Two museum halls tell about shipbuilding and launching. You can look inside military vessel of XVII century or discover how the gold from sunken galleons was being hoisted. Navigation tools, maps, engravings and documents as well as the archives of British Royal Society written by the voyagers of the past centuries are presented in the Museum. The exposition shows amazing models of the ships. You can touch a ship bell, see a real steamship whistle from XIX century, take a photo, and buy a memorable souvenir.
