Through burning clay a human created new and undiscovered substance which is now known as tiles. In 2003 “Technogress” company set up Ceramic tiles and Plumbing Museum in Kharkiv. The museum introduces hand-made relevant masterpieces of the past, prominent achievements of ceramic and plumbing masters from Slobozhanshchyna. The museum exhibits give an idea of our predecessors’ life and household and include: plumbing samples decorative ceramics six tile ovens and incredibly fancy fireplace which is an example of 18-19 century handicraft unique floor tiles from 19 century representing carpet ornaments.
