Izyum Local History museum named after Sibilyov has been introducing bright pages of the local history for 100 years. It was founded in 1920. Its unique collection includes about fourteen thousand exhibits and presents history of Izyumivshchyna from the ancient times till nowadays. In particular, the Museum shows: Gospel of the Holy table from 1707 in a cover made of gilded silver Medieval and Cossak period artefacts, paintings by famous Ukrainian artists and a lot of other rare exhibits. The guests can also travel natural world here. The Museum preserves historic and cultural legacy as well as expands relevant knowledge. It represents a place for intellectual leisure among unique things, recovery and new impressions.
